Warwickshire RC Open Hill Climb Event – 2010

The Warwickshire RC Hill Climbs will take place on Sunday September 26th 2010.

Saintbury Hill KH28 10am and Dovers Hill KH27 12 noon.

Entry fee for each event is £6.50 and the closing date is 14th September.

Tour Ride 2010

I wanted to let Warwickshire RC members know that, for the second year running, The Tour of Britain and The Prostate Cancer Charity are bringing the ‘Tour Ride’ to Stoke-on-Trent on September 26th.

I apologise if you are all already aware of the event or, better still, have already signed up for it! But, just in case not, the Tour Ride offers the opportunity for cyclists to ride an official stage of the Tour of Britain. The Pro Tour Ride is 161km, the Challenge Tour Ride is 80km, and there will also be a choice of 5-25km rides for families to enjoy in and around Longton Park. The event raises money to help fight prostate cancer, which continues to kill a man every hour in the UK.
