Club 10 Course – Tuesday 16th April

The 10 on Tuesday 16th April will be held on the K36/10 due to the ongoing roadworks on the A435. Mick has been told that they should be complete this week.

Don’t forget, all you racing types, the first event of the year takes place on Tuesday 16th April (sign-on at Wythall Park 18.15’ish).

The course will be advised on the night due to surface patching work currently taking place on the A435.

Club Events and Handicap Competition 2019

Tuesday evening club events will commence on 16th April 2019. Sign on at Wythall House for a 19.15 start.

Here are the handicap times for this season’s Club 10 handicap competition. If anyone notices any discrepancies with their fastest times on the K37/10P, please let me know.

Club 10 Next Week – 24th July

Due to surface dressing on the K37/10P, the club 10 will be held on the K36/10, sign on at the clubroom as usual or at the start. Usual start time – 19.15.

No Club 10 This Week

Unfortunately, due to roadworks around the Bransons Cross island for the next 5 nights, both courses are out of action until next week.

They are re-surfacing part of the road down to Beoley, but are using the area around the island for storing the vehicles and they have coned off lanes.

We’ll be able to plan for next Tuesday by next weekend when we can be sure how the work has progressed.

So it’s either a ride or watching England tomorrow.

Further Roadworks

Mick Harborne has just reported that roadworks start on the A435 northbound on 2nd July for 5 nights, so back on the K36/10 again next week.

K37/10P Roadworks

The Worcestershire roadworks map is now showing the end date for the work on the A435 as Tuesday 26th June, so there is a possibility that the dual carriageway will still not be available this week.

The K36/10 will be used again if the work is still in progress.

Club 10 – 12/06/18 – K36/10

Tomorrow nights’ 10 will be on the approved alternate course – K36/10. Sign-on will be at Wythall House at 18.15 but there is also usually signing on at the start.

Work was starting on the A435 at 8 o’clock this evening and it looks like a major re-surfacing job. I’ve had a word with the foreman and asked if he could flatten out the rise to Bransons Cross just a tad for me, he’ll see what he can do.

Roadworks on A435 w/c 11/06/18

Roadworks are commencing on the A435 southbound between the M42 island and Bransons Cross next week. Signs on the dual-carriageway state that this will be for 12 nights starting on Monday 11th June. According to https://worcestershire.roadworks.org the road will be closed from 19.30 each night. This site gives an end date of 6th July but that is probably for planning purposes.

An announcement will be made about club 10’s whilst the K37/10P is unavailable, but we do have the K36/10 as a back-up course.
