British Cycling Bike Maintenance Courses

July 28, 2011

I am hoping you would be willing to pass this message on to your club members please.

British Cycling have organised a couple of bike maintenance sessions in Birmingham, which will be run by former Olympic Team GB mechanic ‘Spike’ who has worked in the business for more than 20 years. The attachment provides more information but as a snapshot the sessions are:

Intermediate (09:30) – 28.10.11

Advanced (09:30) – 29.10.11

Sessions are for a full day with lunch and refreshments provided, along with free British Cycling membership or 10% off the price of the course if you are already a member. The use of workstands, tools, bikes and aprons will be provided and all participants get a free workbook to take home so they can remember what they have learnt on the day. Workshops venues are to be confirmed closer to the date depending on numbers, but will very likely be in a central location with easy transport links.
